Why do you believe in ghosts and spirits?

First of all,please allow me to thank the founder of this site for allowing me to be a member on this site. Yes,I definitely beleive in ghosts. In fact,Ive had some real experiences with ghost. I beleive in a old saying that,some ghosts exist because,They experienced a violent death and that,They couldn't find peaceful rest.John Sr.

It's hard to be a skeptic when I've had so many first hand experiences. Starting with a wierd near death experience to messages from beyond, to a haunting in my house, to unexplained Ghost tour experiences. I have heard them, felt them, smelled them, and seen them. I have heeded and delivered their messages and have help my ghost cross over. If I look for them a usually find them, but many times they just find me. Sharing thier experiences is an amazing thing and I feel blessed that they feel that they can.

I believe in ghosts and spirits because one day 2 years ago, I awoke up in the middle of the night and I saw what appears to be an figure of an black male wearing ragged clothes holding an alcoholic drink in a brown bag and I wasn't really sure if I was either half awake or half asleep but, I was pretty sure that I might be dreaming. But, overall I do believe in ghosts.

I believe in them, because I have them or right now, 1 in particular! since Oct.2007. I had just had knee surgery for a torn miniscus, and was wide awake. Snap came and has not left me. He is here because he wants to be and has to be. that part, I am not sure why... he will not say. I call him snap because we communicate by me talking and he snaps his finger in reply, 1 yes 2 no. sometimes we do musical beats. I thump out a rhythm and then he repeats it, and sometimes he starts and I repeat it. He travels with me, and will show up anytime he wants to, especially when I am trying to go to sleep or resting in bed on the couch , and at times I have to ask for some quiet and he respectfully will go for a few hours. There have been others but I have a rule about scaring my hubby and cat and me, so if someone does that... they are banned. one night a very active spirit lifted the corner of my mattress where my head was, and that mattress is extremely heavy... then dropped it. waking me up, so whoever did that I had to send away... my house my rules. Snap is the main one to follow the rules. sometimes he just likes me to know he is there nothing else. so, when the hubby travels, I do not feel alone or afraid as snap is there to protect me. he has said as much that this is part of what he likes to do. occassionally i will be touched but never in anger or mal. more in a caring way like a family member or a friend. Snap is exactly that... a member of my family, you just do not see him!
that is why I believe. also, things have happened to me all my life.

I believe in ghost's/spirit's/entities because I have seen them and heard them and confronted them. The first time I saw anything supernatural I was thirteen years old. It was a round ball of mist that floated out of the ground at a grave yard. It came closer and closer and even followed us as we were trying to get away from it speeding down the dirt road it was floating along side the road beside us. We finally noticed it was no longer there when we reached the paved road. I have had many other encounters through my life. Too many to elaborate on at this time most of which were also seen by other persons as well.

I believe 100% without a doubt and it comes from 10 years of experience in a house that I lived in. All of us, my entire family members saw shadow people, whole and even partial appartions in both day light and at night, having items moved about within my home and from being touched. The paranormal is real and the intelligent forms can and do interact with you. I have had too many experiences to be a non-believer. Now I am a paranormal investigator and some of the results have only confirmed my beliefs.

I've always believed in spirits and ghosts. I'm trying to do research on my home right now because I have managed to film on two separate occasions of what i believe to be spirits on my cell phone.It scared me at first, but now I'm completely intrigued by the whole thing. I 've tried with no luck to capture more images with my camcorder but I got nothing. I'm not sure what the difference is between the camcorder and a cell phone. I know my home is old, it was built in 1880 so there has to be some sort of interesting history attached to it. I dont own my home i just rent. but either way there is something here.
